Meet Zaire A. Davis

Whether it is acting under a spotlight or creating a story with pen and paper, Zaire is a creator.

Zaire worked her way up to Staff Writer at Disney Television Animation under legendary showrunners, Ralph Farquhar & Bruce W. Smith. 

While participating in the Disney TVA Writing Program, she was mentored and supervised by Jay Francis.

Zaire participated in HBCU in LA under Stacy Milner and is a multi-hyphenate mentee under Black Boy Black Girl Writes unde Mike Gauyo. ​

Zaire is currently working on multiple live action projects in development with the talented director, producer phenomenon, Ali LeRoi. 

She is also working as a Screenwriter at Somewhere Animation under Jess Kedward and is working on a Civil Rights Movement film with the Moss family. ​

 

When not working on these projects, Zaire is busy pitching her original projects to studios, shooting proof of concepts, shadowing directors or training in acting and dance classes. 

A proud HBCU graduate, Zaire attended Delaware State University and has a BA in Mass Communications & Theatre, Magna Cum Laude.  

She gained her MA in Television & Film Production from Savannah College of Art & Design, Summa Cum Laude. 

 

 Affiliations include Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, NAACP, NABJ, Women in Animation, Alpha Psi Omega; the National Theatre Honor Society, Organization of Black Screenwriters, The Animation Guild, New Filmmakers Los Angeles, Black TV & Film Collective and the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success.

Zaire created Davis Flicks to create projects that highlight people of color, on and off the screen.

She is a multi-hyphenate creative that writes thru the lens of young Millennial, Gen-Z perspective,

She is available for screenwriting, acting and directing opportunities.
